What's Going On?

SUBMITED SUBMITED What was going on Thursday evening in the Person High School gymnasium? The Second Annual Countdown to Commencement (C3) Commencement Celebration for Person County graduates was held and attended by approximately 850 people, according to organizer Dr. M. David Chambers, pastor of Antioch Baptist Church. The event originated last year to celebrate the accomplishments of the graduating seniors of Person County and to give them back a prayer time, which was removed from Person High School’s graduation ceremony last year due to legal issues.
