Patricia Clayton Oakley

Patricia Clayton Oakley, 67, died Friday, Oct. 17, 2014.

Born in Person County, she was the daughter of the late Calvin Coolidge and Lois Stephens Clayton, who survives.

She was a teacher for 27 years and retired as a media specialist.

Mrs. Oakley was a former member of the Roxboro Woman’s Club and a member of Roxboro Baptist Church and choir.

Surviving in addition to her mother, is her husband, Chuck Oakley, of the home; two children, Chad C. Oakley, of Raleigh, and Kyle S. Oakley, of Boone; and one brother, Kent Clayton, of Roxboro.

A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 19 at Roxboro Baptist Church by the Rev. Dupree Sanders.

Burial will follow in the Burchwood Annex. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Thomas Stephens, Ralph Harris, Larry Clayton, Brian Adcock, Wallace Blalock, and James Mangum.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Class of Paul, Bill Hodgin, Bobby Harris, Skeen Adcock, and John Nutt.
