Harold Dee Long

Harold Dee Long, 80, of 1806 Whitt Town Road, died Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015 surrounded by his family at his home.  Born in Person County he was the son of the late Lottie Wagner Long and Clay Long.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his son Harold Thomas Long; one sister Odell Moore; and four brothers, Bonnie Long, Ralph Long, John Ennis Long and Bobby Long.  
Mr. Long was a member of the Square Dance Club.  He was an U. S. Army veteran and a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.
Surviving are his wife of over 56 years, Frankie Burch Long of the home; his brothers, Michael Wayne Long and wife, Kelsey of Timberlake; Gene Autry Long of Henderson; his sister-in-law Jenny Barbour of Roxboro and his companion Lee-Lee.
The family will receive friends Friday, Jan. 16, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Brooks & white Funeral Home and other times at the home.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 17, at Brooks & White Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Donald Daniel.  Interment will follow in the Burch Family Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Troy Blalock, Clay Champion, Charles Blalock, David Gentry, Tony Albert and Darrell Russell.
