Orange County Speedway will wrap up its season with 10 races this weekend.

The track’s championship night is scheduled for today beginning at 5 p.m., with Sunday being used as a potential rain date, depending upon the weather.

If racing takes place Sunday, the green flag will drop at 2 p.m.

According to a releases posted on the track’s web site, every attempt will be made to race this weekend, but if weather does not permit racing to take place, the division championships will be determined by the current point standings.

The Late Model Stocks will highlight the busy night of racing with twin 35-lappers.

Craig Moore currently holds a 37-point lead over Chuck Lawson in the Late Model Stock standings heading into the final night of the season. Reigning division champion Chris Denny sits in third, 54 points behind Moore, while Terry Dease and Grayson Massey round out the five.

Layne Riggs will look to wrap up a championship in the Limited Sportsman division. Riggs, son of NASCAR driver Scott Riggs, is 34 points ahead of Lawson in the points standings.

Chris Elliott, Jerry Hinesley and Tracey Chambers round out the top-five.

The Street Stocks will compete in twin 15-lap races, while the Super Mini Trucks, Alison Legacy, Pure Stocks and Southern Ground Pounders are also schedule to run.
