Person High School (PHS) is hosting the first Tech-stravaganza March 16, in the school media center during second and third periods.

The Tech-stravaganza is a competition in which any PHS student may submit a technology-related project completed as a classroom assignment or outside of school. The categories for submission include 3D modeling, animation, audio production, digital game design, hardware, robotics, video production, internet applications, multimedia applications, productivity design and project programming.

Students may only submit in a single category and will be judged on their effort and efficiency.

Those interested in competing should sign-up in the media center or email the media center coordinator, Cortney Barnes at barnesc@ person.k12.nc.us.

Internet access is not guaranteed, so students may need copies of Internet based projects for their presentations.

First place winners will be able to compete at the district level.
