Jeffrey Wayne Clayton


Jeffrey Wayne Clayton, age 34, of 132 White Oak Drive, Roxboro, died Friday evening, Aug. 4, 2017 at his home.
Mr. Clayton was born Aug. 30, 1982 in Durham County to Larry Wayne Clayton and Sandra Powell Parker.
Jeffrey loved Jesus and he enjoyed extreme couponing.  He had a big heart and loved everyone.      
Surviving in addition to his parents are his paternal grandfather, Billy T. “Big Daddy” Clayton; step-mother, Marissa Clayton; dog and faithful friend, Vega and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, at Olive Branch Baptist Church with the Rev. Victor Blackwell, Freddie Hobbs and Rob Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Person Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends and guests Saturday, Aug. 12, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Olive Branch Baptist Church and other times at the home of Freddie and Pam Hobbs, 1296 Country Club Road, Roxboro.     
Mr. Clayton is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Alice P. Evans and Ernest J. Powell and his paternal grandmother, Eunice B. Clayton.
Pallbearers will be Jimmy Adams, James Barnes, Darnell Carver, David Newell, Rob Walker and Bruce Walsh.
Flowers are acceptable or memorial gifts made be made to The Ark of Hope Rescue, Inc., 13400 Artic Ridge Lane, Oldtown, Maryland 21555.
