New church coming to Uptown Roxboro

Cunningham Cunningham The church located at 1701 North Main Street in Uptown Roxboro is now Life Outreach Worship Center.

On Saturday, Nov. 18, Pastor-elect Tonia Cunningham invites the community to come out and celebrate the opening with a Meet and Greet beginning at 10 a.m.

On Sunday, Nov. 19, worship service will begin at 10 a.m. Lunch will be served at 12:30 p.m.

A pastor installation service will held at 3 p.m. for Pastor-elect Tonia Cunningham. Guests for the occasion will be Pastor Gerald K. Franklin and the New Ephesus Baptist Church family from Semora.

The times for worship service at Life Outreach Worship Center are on the first, third and fourth Sundays at 10 a.m. and the second Sunday at 8:30 a.m.; Sunday school is at 8:30 a.m. on the first, third and fourth Sundays; and Bible Life Class is on Wednesdays at 7 p.m.

The core mission of Life Outreach Worship Center is “Feeding the Word of God.”

Pastor-elect Tonia Cunningham and Life Outreach Worship Center look forward to serving the people of Person County and the surrounding area.
