MADISON FULLER | BULLHORN MADISON FULLER | BULLHORN To celebrate February being Black History Month, Roxboro Community School (RCS) sixth-grade students made projects to display in the main lobby of the school. The projects were put on display on Feb. 5 and will remain there throughout all of February. Christa Jones, sixth-grade ELA teacher, organizes the projects for the students. She has done this for four years now. Her goal with the project is to teach people about African American inventors. “It gives [the students] the opportunity to learn new information about new people. In addition, they love hands-on activities,” explained Jones. “I believe this is a wonderful way to celebrate Black History Month.”
