Library announces bookmark contest winners


The winning bookmarks in a library contest have been reprinted in limited numbers and are available at the Person County Library. 
SUBMITTED The winning bookmarks in a library contest have been reprinted in limited numbers and are available at the Person County Library. SUBMITTED The Person County Public Library hosted a Bookmark Design contest during the month of January. The contest theme was, “What do you love about your library?” Four winners were chosen from the following age groups: ages 5-9, ages 10- 14, ages 15-18, and adults ages 19 and up.

The first winner was Alex Fuller with “keep quiet and read on.” Delaney

Anderson, was the second winner submitting a colorful and inspiring “READ” bookmark. Sophomore Maggie Rand won with the bookmark “get lost in a book” with a delightful character perched on top of a stack of books.

Adult winner Bobbi Ambruster won with “Maybelline took the Road, Library MOST travelled.” All four of these winners’ bookmarks were printed by Taylor’s Printing. Patrons may pick one up at check out during the month of March, while supplies last.
