PHOTOS SUBMITTED Person County Schools held its annual Senior Reception April 19,. Seniors at Person High School and Roxboro Community School were invited back to their elementary schools to reunite with teachers and old classmates.

Former students and teachers reflected on some of their favorite memories about their elementary schools. Most elementary schools had class pictures, old classwork and other memorabilia for students and parents to go through. Students were asked to tell everyone their name, what they planned to do after high school and to tell about their fondest memory from their elementary school days.

Nicholas Harris said he went to the senior reception, “because I love South Elementary and it had a lasting effect on making me the person I am now.”

Aubrey Lappin, who attended Bethel Hill Charter School, said that her favorite part of the night was “seeing old friends and former teachers and hear everyone’s plans for after high school.”
