Earnest Bradley Brann

Earnest Bradley Brann, 77, of 1339 Whitt Town Rd., died Wednesday, May 23, 2018.  Born in Person County, Mr. Brann was the son of the late Lonzer Ernest and Eugenia Davis Brann.  Mr. Brann retired from the Roxboro Police Department after 25 years, and later retired from the Person County Sheriff’s Department Reserves after 10 years.  He was an avid outdoorsman who like panning for gold, searching for indian artifacts, deer and turkey hunting and playing cards.  He was a member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church.  Mr. Brann was preceded in death by his sister, Eleanor Brann Fox and her husband G.T.

Mr. Brann is survived by his wife, Emily Rogers Brann; two children, Karen Brann Williams and husband Chris and Roger Burch and wife Teresa; his sister, Ethel Brann Tillman and husband Jimmy; three grandchildren, Zack Burch and wife Candace, Zane Burch and M.C. Williams; and several nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, May 26, 2018, at Mt. Zion United Methodist Chuch Fellowship Hall by the Rev. Don Daniel and the Rev. Jimmy Pulliam.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be held 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the Brooks & White Funeral Home & Crematory and at other times at the home.

Pallbearers will be Glenn Fox, Gary Fox, Dale Tillman, Ron Rogers, David Whitt, Mark Whitt, and Billy Day.  Honorary pallbearers will be current and past officers and deputies of the Roxboro Police Department and Person County Sheriff’s Department.
