Kathleen Pearl Tilley Carver

Kathleen Pearl Tilley Carver, 82, of 302 Allgood Street, Roxboro, died Thursday, June 21, 2018.  Born in Person County, Mrs. Carver was the daughter of the late Dennis Rodrick and Betty Mae Chambers Tilley and wife of the late Jimmy Ray "Mundy" Carver, Sr.  She was affectionately knows as "Nootie" to her family and friends.  She lived her entire life in the loving community of East Roxboro, attending Grace United Methodist Church. The last year, Kathleen resided at Cambridge Hills and attended New Life Independent Baptist Church with her family.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Elizabeth Dixon Duke.

Mrs. Carver is survived by two children, Sharon C. Dickerson and Jimmy Ray Carver, Jr., and wife Kristy, all of Roxboro; one brother, Patrick Tilley, of Roxboro; two sisters, Carolyn T. Stevens and Barbara T. Ford, all of Roxboro; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018, at New Life Independent Baptist Church by the Pastor Mike Whitt.  Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery.  Visitation will be held 6:30 p.m.  to 8 p.m. Friday at the Brooks & White Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Kirk Carver, Bobby Painter, Cliff Porterfield, Brent Carver, Jacob Dickerson, and Tracy Kirby.
