Extension agents ready to help

To the editor:

We all realize that agriculture has changed. Among our young people, there is a lack of knowledge about agriculture.

Hopefully with more interest in agribusiness and agritourism, Person County will hold on to its rich heritage of agriculture.

The Person County Extension Advisory Council would like to say thank you to The Courier-Times for the coverage they have recently given to some of the specialty farms in our area. Thank you for helping to get the news out about these fairly new ventures.

The Person County Cooperative Extension agents at the county office building are available to answer your questions about health and nutrition, livestock, horticulture, crops and 4-H youth development.

You can call 336-599- 1195 for any questions you may have or to make an appointment which is recommended since our extension agents serve Granville County as well.
