Clair Dean Oakley Regan

Clair Dean Oakley Regan, 84, of 442 Somerset Dr., went to be with her Lord Wednesday, July 25, 2018. Born in Person County, Mrs. Regan was the daughter of the late Charlie Cleveland and Cora Aldine Fox Oakley and wife of the late Coy Thomas Regan, Sr. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Charlie Bernice Oakley, Harold Oakley, Everette Oakley, Bennie Oakley, the Elder Wallace Oakley, Algie Oakley, Carl Oakley, Thelma Landis Oakley and Lucy Griffin and her grandson, John Paul Regan. Mrs. Regan retired from Roxboro Nursing Center and was a member of North Roxboro Baptist Church where she sang with the Melody Makers Senior Choir. She was also active at the Person County Senior Center prior to declining health.

Mrs. Regan is survived by her son, Coy Thomas “Tommy” Regan, Jr., of Roxboro; two sisters, Edith Blackard, of Burlington and Jane Westmoreland, of Thomasville; one granddaughter, Katie Ann Regan, of Roxboro; two greatgrandchildren, Alexander Bowen and Issiah Bowen. Also, thanks to a special friend, Christie Harris and family.

Memorial services will be held 2 p.m., Monday, July 30, 2018, at North Roxboro Baptist Church by the Rev. Ben Durand. Burial will follow in the Oakley Family Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday at North Roxboro Baptist Church prior to the service and at other times at the home of Buster & Deanie Oakley, 1482 Morton Pulliam Rd.
