The following reports were released Thursday:

Roxboro Police Department

Monday. Sept. 16

- Officers received a report of a larceny from a motor vehicle on Walker Street that occurred between Aug. 31 and Sept. 5.

12 a.m. - Officers responded to a report of obtaining property by false pretenses on Durham Road.

9:20 a.m. - William Ellis Hager, 26, of 43 Iris Lane, Roxboro, was charged with misdemeanor failure to appear. Hager was placed under a $250 bond.

1:26 p.m. - Officers responded to a report of vandalism on Burlington Road.

4:28 p.m. - Officers responded to a report of an assault on Burlington Road.

11:03 p.m. - La Piazza reported a vandalism.

Tuesday, Sept. 17

10:38 a.m. - Officers responded to a report of a runaway on North Madison Boulevard.

4:02 p.m. - Officers responded to a report of a break-in, larceny and property damage on West Morehead Street.

11:42 p.m. - Maurice Ra Shawn King, 36, of 1229 Claiborne Street, Danville, Va, was charged with misdemeanor providing alcohol to a minor.

Wednesday, Sept. 18

- Officers received a report of a larceny that occurred Sept. 13.

4:23 p.m. - James Patrick Davis, 47, of 1104 Concord Ceffo Road was charged with misdemeanor failure to appear. Davis was held under a $2,500 secured bond. Davis was taken into custody due to a outstanding indictment, according to the arrest report.

Monday. Sept. 16

8 a.m. - Deputies responded to a report of a breaking and entering on Wheeler’s Church Road in Hurdle Mills. The victim reported his girlfriend entered his home while he was not there and took a watch she had given him.

9:30 a.m. - Deputies responded to a report of an attempted burglary on Oxford Road in Roxboro. The victim reported that someone came to her house and looked around her property and attempted to enter her storage building.

12:40 p.m. - Deputies responded to a report of an assault inflicting serious injury at Runt’s Place on Virgilina Road. The victim reported being body slammed resulting in a broken arm and possibly a cracked rib when he came out of the bathroom. The victim reported he didn’t want to press charges.

3:10 p.m. - Deputies responded to a report of a runaway juvenile on Whitetail Lane in Leasburg.

6:05 p.m. - Savannah Lee Williams, 16, of 2011 Berry-Pearce Road, Timberlake, was charged with misdemeanor simple assault. Williams was placed under a $500 secured bond with the option of a custody release to her parents.

10 p.m. - Deputies responded to a report of property damage on Boston Road in Roxboro, The victim reported that someone had broken the rear glass of her car.

Tuesday, Sept. 17

5:50 a.m. - Harley Joseph Cash, 18, of 170 Frank Cash Road, Timberlake, was charged with misdemeanor injury to personal property and released.

8:30 a.m. - Deputies responded to a report of injury to real property on Stagecoach Trail in Roxboro. The victim reported his neighbor’s mailbox had been damaged and was 20-30 yards away from where it was originally.

8:30 a.m. - Deputies responded to a report of a breaking and entering and theft on Lewis Winstead Loop in Roxboro. The victim reported that someone had broken into his house and took money.

10 a.m. - John David Shumate, 64, of 85 Farm House Road, Roxboro, was charged with misdemeanor communicating threats. Shumate was held without bond.

2 p.m. - Deputies responded to a report of identity theft on Guess Road in Hurdle Mills. The victim reported that fraudulent charges were taken out of her checking account.

4:56 a.m. - Ricky Don Pruitt, Jr., 32, of 5946 Hurdle Mills Road, Roxboro, was charged with misdemeanor carrying a concealed handgun. Pruitt posted his $1,000 secured bond and was released.

7 p.m. - Karmeshia Nikia Daye, 27, of 104 Brookstone Lane, Roxboro, was charged with injury to personal property.

11:05 p.m. - Owen Lester Burch, 43, of 2740 Oxford Road, Roxboro, was charged with misdemeanor assault on a female. Burch was held without bond.

Wednesday, Sept. 18

1:15 a.m. - Devyn Lamont Moran, 18, of 448 Enos Slaughter Road, Roxboro, was charged with misdemeanor assault on a female, misdemeanor resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer, being intoxicated and disruptive and consuming alcohol under the age of 19. Lamont was held under a $7,000 secured bond.

1:05 p.m. - Deputies responded to a report of a larceny on Sequoia Drive in Timberlake. The victim reported that his 9 mm handgun and diamond engagement ring had been stolen while he was away on vacation.

3:30 p.m. - Deputies responded to a report of an assault on a female on Henderson Road in Roxboro. The victim reported that her brother pusher her against a wall, picked her up and kicked her in the stomach. The victim is currently three months pregnant and reported that Person Memorial Hospital was unable to locate a heart beat on the child.

5:16 p.m. - Deputies responded to a report of a larceny on Virgilina Road. The victim reported that more than $1,000 in cash and clothing had been stolen from his sister’s room while she was asleep . The suspect reported that the victim had given her the clothing and had messages and video proving so.

7:32 p.m. - Jalen De’Andre Brooks, 21, of 25 Lisa-Cheryl Lane, Roxboro, was charged with misdemeanor simple possession of drugs and misdemeanor failure to stop for blue lights and siren. Brooks was charged and released.

7:34 p.m. - Devyn Lamont Moran, 18, of 448 Enos Slaughter Road, Roxboro, was charged with misdemeanor assault on a female. Moran was held under a $5,000 secured bond.
