Thursday, Oct. 3

8:38 p.m. - Officers responded to a report of a murder on South Foushee Street. The shooting left one dead and three injured.

Friday, Oct. 4

11:30 a.m. - Officers responded to a report of a break-in on Burlington Road that occurred between Sept. 19 and Oct. 4.

4:47 p.m. - Officers responded to a report of financial transaction card fraud on South Lamar Street.

7 p.m. - Officers responded to a report of possession of marijuana on Walker Street.

8:43 p.m. - Tawanda Latrece Odom, 42, of 424 Monroe St., Roxboro, was charged with misdemeanor failure to appear for charges in Durham County. Odom was placed under a $1,000 unsecured bond and released.

11:45 p.m. - Derrick Alexander Tuck, 25, of 345 Hazel Lawson Road, Roxboro, was charged with misdemeanor resisting, obstructing or delaying an officer. Tuck was held under a $1,000 secured bond.

Sunday, Oct. 6

2:24 p.m. - Laura Jane Williams, 42, of 553 Christys Way, Roxboro, was charged with misdemeanor obtaining property by a worthless check.

Thursday, Oct. 3

4:45 p.m. - Aaron Downey, 26, of 1330 Chub Lake Road, Roxboro, was charged with assault on a female and larceny, both misdemeanors.

6:40 p.m. - Deputies responded to a report of a break-in on Huff Road in Roxboro. The deputy reported arriving to the scene of a vacant residence with the door left open and nothing inside.

7:51 p.m. - Deputies responded to a report of a break-in on Hurdle Mills Road. The victim reported their rifle and two magazines had been stolen and their screen door, back door and car window had been broken.

10:09 p.m. - Deputies responded to a report of communicating threats on Autumn Drive in Roxboro. The victim reported their nephew had been chasing them around their house with a hammer and left on foot in an unknown direction prior to the deputy’s arrival.

Friday, Oct. 4

11:30 a.m. - Douglas Edward Kibbey, 68, of 1916 Burlington Road, Roxboro, was cited for misdemeanor larceny.

3:20 p.m. - Jeffrey Martin Woods, 48, of 210 Woody St., Lot 43, Roxboro, was charged with three counts of larceny. Woods was placed under a $5,000 unsecured bond and released.

7:15 p.m. - Elizabeth Mae Andrade, 40, of 30 Old U.S. 501, Roxboro, was charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor driving with license revoked and possession of an open container of alcohol in a car. Andrade was held under an unspecified secured bond.

7:15 - Christopher Jerome Winstead, 25, of 358 Punch Hill Farm Road, Rougemont, was charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer. Winstead was held under an unspecified secured bond.

8 p.m. - Deputies responded to a report of child abuse at Person Memorial Hospital. While there, a nurse reported the possibility of child abuse because of a two-year-old with severe burns. The child’s father said the child had fallen into a fire pit in which he was burning brush.

8:18 p.m. - Donovan Tyron Lester, 26, of 1907 Allensville Road, Roxboro, was charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer. Bond information was not available on Lester’s arrest report.

11:17 p.m. - Larry Daniel Binns, 68, of 4803 Pointe Place, Durham, was charged with DWI. Binns was held under a $500 secured bond.

Saturday, Oct. 5

3 p.m. - Deputies responded to a call for service on Blalock Dairy Road in Roxboro. The caller reported that they noticed a person in their backyard in a black hoodie and jeans. The victim reported that the person fled when they went to their backyard.

Sunday, Oct. 6

12:20 a.m. - Chad Henderson Eakes, 42, of 73 Christys Way, Timberlake, was cited for simple drug possession and released.

12:50 a.m. - Robert Darryl Lunsford, 19, of 1154 Allensville Road, Roxboro, was charged with DWI and driving after consuming alcohol under 21 years old.

3 p.m. - Jeffery Smith, 21, of 216 Reams Ave., was cited for misdemeanor simple possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

8:45 p.m. - Tristan Lynn Wilson, 22, of 306 Youngs Chapel Church Road, Roxboro, was charged with misdemeanor injury to real property. Wilson was released on a written promise to appear in court.
