Rodney Dale Wrenn, 50, of 441 John Allen Road, Roxboro, died Saturday, November 23, 2019. Born in Person County, Mr. Wrenn was the son of the late Larry Dale Wrenn and Judy C. Bullock, who survives, of Roxboro. Mr. Wrenn worked for the NCDOT and later Ricky Gentry Trucking. He was a firefighter with the Hurdle Mills Volunteer Fire Department.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Wrenn is survived by his wife, Kimberly Tingen Wrenn; five children, Jonathan Brett Wrenn and wife Miranda, Kyle Thomas Wrenn and Kaleb Scott Wrenn, all of Bushy Fork, Carly Michael Bowes and husband Blake and Cody Lane Dean, all of Roxboro; one sister, Toshia Bowles, of Roxboro; three brothers, Brent Wrenn, of Hurdle Mills, Calvin Whitfield, of Clayton and Preston Whitfield, of Boulder, Colo.; five grandchildren, Addison, Wyatt, Ainslee, Lily and Amelia.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, at Clement Baptist Church by the Rev. Hal Dickerson. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the service
Pallbearers will be Timmy Blalock, Jason Wolfe, Jeff Brann, Rodney Poteat, Andy Porterfield, Greg Blalock. Honorary pallbearers will be firefighters with the Hurdle Mills Volunteer Fire Department.
