9 a.m. – Officers responded to a report of animal cruelty on Thaxton Road.
Tuesday, Feb. 28
2:51 a.m. – Jason Ryker Pulley, 18, of Old Cluster Springs Road, South Boston, Va., was charged with felony possession with intent to sell and deliver a controlled substance. Pulley was placed under a $5,000 secured bond.
12 p.m. – Austin Scott Wrenn, 47, of Thaxton Road, Roxboro, was charged with felony cruelty to animals. Wrenn was placed under a $10,000 secured bond.
2:37 p.m. – Shelby Thaxton Wrenn, 80, of Thaxton Road, Roxboro, was charged with felony cruelty to animals. Wrenn was placed under a $20,000 unsecured bond.
2:47 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of trespassing on Garrett Street.
5:41 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of indecent exposure on Gordon Street.
Wednesday, March 1
3:07 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of shoplifting at Advance Auto Parts on North Madison Boulevard. The total estimated loss was $10.
9:26 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of intoxicated and disruptive and impeding traffic on West Morehead Street.
9:30 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of obtaining property by false pretenses on West Barden Street.
Thursday, March 2
No time listed – Officers responded to a report of obtaining property by false pretenses on Durham Road.
11:32 a.m. – Officers responded to a report of obtaining property by false pretenses on Long Avenue.
5:19 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of simple assault on Owens Street.
8:26 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of simple assault on North Madison Boulevard.
8:34 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of assault with a deadly weapon on Kerr Drive.
9:18 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of unauthorized use of a motor vehicle on North Madison Boulevard.
Friday, March 3
10:02 p.m. – Shannon Marie Wrenn, 36, of Longhurst Street, Roxboro, was charged with a felony unnamed drug offense. Wrenn was placed under a $22,600 secured bond.
Saturday, March 4
12:06 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of financial transaction card theft on North Madison Boulevard.
Sunday, March 5
11:03 p.m. – Christopher Lee Wilkins, 24, of Kindletree Court, Cary, was charged with felony possession with intent to sell and deliver a controlled substance, misdemeanor simple possession of a schedule II, III or IV controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia. Wilkins was placed under a $7,500 secured bond.
Monday, March 6
1:30 a.m. – Jose Angel Perez, 25, of South Main Street, Roxboro, was charged with felony failure to appear. Perez was placed under a $500 secured bond.

Monday, Feb. 27
10:59 a.m. – Timothy Ashworth, 34, of Mt. View Road, Roxboro, was taken into custody on a felony warrant from Harnett County. Ashworth was placed under a $10,000 unsecured bond.
1:26 p.m. – Deputies responded to a report of cardiac arrest on Pixley-Pritchard Road in Timberlake.
1:38 p.m. – Deputies responded to a report of cardiac arrest on Pulliam-Tingen Mine Road.
2:54 p.m. – Aaron Ward, 20, of Lawson Chapel Church Road, Roxboro, was taken into custody on a warrant for felony discharging a firearm into occupied property. Ward was placed under a $27,500 secured bond.
7:11 p.m. – Deputies responded to a report of communicating threats on Oxford Road.
9:11 p.m. – Deputies responded to a report of suspicious activity on Broad Road.
Tuesday, Feb. 28
10:54 a.m. – Ka-Leigh Jeanine Gunter, 22, of Rumley Road, Roxboro, was charged with felony assault inflicting serious injury to a detention employee. Gunter was placed under a $10,000 secured bond.
Thursday, March 2
10:26 a.m. – Elizabeth Mae Andrade, 44, of Allensville Road, Roxboro, was charged with felony financial card theft and felony identity theft. Andrade was placed under a $10,000 secured bond
11:10 a.m. – Donovan Tyron Lester, 30, of Allensville Road, Roxboro, was charged with felony financial card theft. Lester was placed under a $5,000 secured bond.
Friday, March 3
5:59 p.m. – Deputies responded to a report of breaking and entering and trespassing on Broad Road.
10 p.m. – Amanda Kathleen Vanteger, 37, of Henry Huff Road, Oxford, was charged with felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance, felony maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for use, sale or storage of controlled substances, felony possession of a catalytic converter and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Vanteger was placed under a $7,000 secured bond.
10:50 p.m. – Thomas Allen Edwards, 43, of Woodsy View Lane, Roxboro, was charged with felony kidnapping, misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon, misdemeanor communicating threats and assault on a female. Edwards was placed under a $500,000 secured bond.
Saturday, March 4
3:20 a.m. – William Trey Price, 42, of Leda Road, Nathalie Va., was charged with a felony probation violation. Price was held without bond.
12:12 p.m. – Deputies responded to a report of suspicious activity on Dirgie Mine Road.
9:40 p.m. – Deputies responded to a report of suspicious activity on Nelson Loop Road.
11:49 p.m. – Tyler Brione Sims, 25, of Washington Avenue, South Boston, Va., was charged with felony possession of a schedule I controlled substance. Sims was place under a $10,000 unsecured bond.
Sunday, March 5
No time listed – Montiero Robert Springfield, 34, of North Wood Court, Roxboro, was charged with felony possession of a weapon by a prisoner. Springfield was placed under a $5,000 secured bond.
Monday, March 6
5:43 p.m. – Deputies responded to a report of cardiac arrest on Paul Tuck Farm Road.

As much as possible, staff will do its best to include as much about the incidents that law enforcement respond to in the timely manner that is reported to us. Some incidents will not be available in the issue immediately following the date of the incident.
