Monday, Dec. 12
No time listed – Officers responded to a report of financial transaction card theft on North Madison Boulevard. The total estimated loss was $240.
4:51 a.m. – Officers responded to a report of harassing phone calls on Ridge Road.
8:37 a.m. – Peter John Lilje, 47, of North Lamar Street, Roxboro, was charged with felony burglary, felony larceny, misdemeanor domestic criminal trespass and a misdemeanor 50b order offense. Lilje was held without bond.
10:14 a.m. – Laporscha Nichole Scott, 37, of Jones Lester Road, Roxboro, was charged with felony failure to appear for larceny by an employee. Scott was placed under a $20,000 secured bond.
2:20 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of larceny at Petsense on North Madison Boulevard. The total estimated loss was $465.
3:35 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of shoplifting at Walmart on Durham Road. The total estimated loss was $53.
Tuesday, Dec. 13
12 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of child abuse on Pine Ridge Drive.
3:13 p.m. – Officers responded to a family dispute on South Madison Boulevard.
3:34 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of shoplifting at Food Lion on North Madison Boulevard. The total estimated loss was $502.
5:36 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of larceny on North Morgan Street. The total estimated loss was $2,000.
10:56 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of trespassing at Person Memorial Hospital on Ridge Road.
Wednesday, Dec. 14
9:43 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of shoplifting at Sheetz on North Madison Boulevard. The total estimated loss was $50.
1:30 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of larceny on Academy Street. The total estimated loss was $300.
Thursday, Dec. 15
8:35 a.m. – Officers responded to a report of breaking and entering and larceny from a motor vehicle on North Madison Boulevard.
Friday, Dec. 16
1:54 a.m. – Jazmyne Ophelia Oliver, 30, of Griles Street, Roxboro, was charged with two counts of felony attempted murder, felony assault by strangulation, misdemeanor assault on a government official and misdemeanor resisting, obstructing or delaying an officer. Oliver was placed under a $250,000 secured bond.
8:45 p.m. – Kimberly Denise Poole, 35, of Ivey Street, Roxboro, was charged with felony identity theft and felony financial card theft. Poole was placed under a $7,000 secured bond.
Saturday, Dec. 17
3:36 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of obtaining property by false pretense on Bumpass Lane. The total estimated loss was $60.
6:27 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of property damage on North Madison Boulevard.
10:44 p.m. – Officers responded to a report of attempted murder.
Tuesday, Dec. 20
2:53 a.m. – Anibal Joval Cruz, 34, of Alston Avenue, Durham, was charged with four counts of felony assault with a deadly weapon on a police officer, felony fleeing or eluding arrest, misdemeanor resisting, obstructing or delaying an officer and misdemeanor DWI. Cruz was placed under a $70,000 secured bond.

Monday, Dec. 12
2:30 a.m. – Ashlyn Long, 26, of Industrial Drive, Roxboro, was charged with felony trafficking heroin. Long was placed under a $50,000 secured bond.
Tuesday, Dec. 13
5:30 p.m. – Deputies responded to a report of stalking on North Madison Boulevard.
Wednesday, Dec. 14
2:02 p.m. – Deputies responded to a report of obtaining property by false pretenses on North Madison Boulevard.Â
Thursday, Dec. 15
2:30 a.m. – Deputies responded to a report of simple assault on Red Fox Lane.
Saturday, Dec. 17
2:43 p.m. – Deputies responded to a report of an overdose on Or Burgess Drive in Rougemont.
10:04 p.m. – Herbert Edward Yarborough, 36, of Little Bit Drive, Creedmoor, was charged with felony obtaining property by false pretenses. Yarborough was placed under a $1,000 unsecured bond.
Sunday, Dec. 18
10:05 a.m. – Micah Xavier Walters, 22, of Dirgie Mine Road, Roxboro, was charged with felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of marijuana up to 0.5 ounce, simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia and a warrant for misdemeanor assault with a deadly weapon. Walters was placed under a $22,100 secured bond.
