Richard “Phillip” Knott, Jr.

Richard “Phillip” Knott, Jr., 91, of Roxboro, died on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2023. Born in Granville County, he was the son of the late Richard Phillip Knott and Lillian Puckett Knott. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Willie Ann Lunsford Knott; his son, Brent Richard Knott; two brothers: James Knott and Clarence Knott. Mr. Knott was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

Surviving are his daughter, Lisa Morris and husband, Donald of Timberlake; two grandsons: Wesley Morris and wife, Leslie and Blake Morris and Wife, Samantha; two great-grandchildren: Jax Morris and Charlotte Morris.
