Every Christmas, the police department hosts Shop with a Cop. This annual community policing program focuses on helping underprivileged youth in our community enjoy Christmas.  Shop with a Cop partners our first responders with local children who otherwise would not have Christmas without this program.  With this program, we provide the children a hot meal for their nutritional needs.  We work with the local elementary schools to nominate children who are in the most need of this program’s love. Our annual goal is to shop at Walmart with 20-25 youth for Christmas.

We are asking for your support to help make Christmas a special time for these children. For the program to remain successful, we need community donations.  Your business, church or you as an individual can donate to the program.  Donations must be in the form of a Walmart gift card or check payable to the Roxboro Police Department.  Your donation also helps feed and brighten the children’s day who participate.
