About Us

The Courier-Times has been the newspaper of record for Roxboro and Person County since Oct. 18, 1943, but its roots go back all the way to 1881 with the publishing of the Roxboro Herald.

After 14 years of competition, the Roxboro Courier and the Person County Times merged to form The Courier-Times.

The newspaper is publishes weekly, on Thursdays, and is located at 111 North Main Street in Uptown Roxboro.
