TIMBERLAKE– Person High School athletes, coaches, families and supporters gathered together for a meal and to celebrate the 2022-23 school year Monday evening at the Rocket Club athletic banquet at the Homestead Festival House.

Northern Middle School’s girls’ soccer team celebrated its eighth-graders and sent them out on a high note with a 3-2 win over crosstown rival Southern Thursday, May 4. 

Southern Middle School’s boys and girls track and field teams earned wins over Northern to close out the regular season Wednesday, May 3. The SMS boys won 75-24 and the girls earned an 88-4 victory. 

Former Person High School star Lillie Davis was recently named the USA South Athletic Conference Rookie Pitcher of the Year.
