Area wrestlers set for postseason action

After earning a team win in the first round of the state playoffs, Person High School’s individuals are set to compete in the 3A Mideast Regional tournament on Friday and Saturday at Cedar Ridge High School in Hillsborough. The top four finishers in each weight class will advance to compete in the NCHSAA Individual Wrestling State Championships in Greensboro.

Wrestling starts at 6:30 p.m on Friday followed by a 9:30 a.m. start on Saturday. 

Admission for the whole tournament is $15, Saturday only is $10, Friday only is $8 and finals only is $6. Tickets are available on GoFan by searching for Cedar Ridge.
