Person softball blasts Bucs

Eight Rockets got on with base hits while seven turned in multi-hit performances. Senior Lindsey Melton went 3-for-3 with a home run, double and three RBIs. 

PHS sophomore Kenzley Horne went 3-for-4 with three hits, three runs and three RBIs while junior Taryn Massey finished 3-for-3 with two doubles, three runs and three RBIs of her own. 

Sophomore Camryn Clarke went 2-for-4 with a double and four RBIs and Allie Carden had a big game going 2-for-3 with a triple and two RBIs. 

The Rockets traveled to South Granville Wednesday for a rematch with the Vikings, who beat Person 5-4 in the season opener Feb. 28. Results were unavailable at press time.
