RCS golfers finish third in conference tourney

The Roxboro Community School women’s golf team finished its season Tuesday with a third-place finish at the Triangle North Conference tournament.

The Bulldogs, led by Mallorie Jones’ 122 across 18 holes, carded a 387 team score. First-year golfer Emma Puett finished second among RCS with a 132. Sadie Satterfield carded a 133 to finish third for the Bulldogs. Caleiah Woods recorded a 138, while Lakya Braswell shot a 144, to round out unofficial scores.
